We are looking for 2 landscape grounds crew members for our tight knit family-run landscape company here in Bradenton/Sarasota Florida.

Job Requirements
You must be at least 18 years old, have inner drive to put in a full day’s work 5 days a week and show up on time at the same pick up point every weekday. It is essential you can safely work with power equipment when properly trained.
If you are bilingual (Spanish/English) you will be put to the top of the application list
Must have valid driver license or reliable daily transportation to be dropped off at start point every weekday at 6:45 AM.
Our Start point every day is on State Road 70 just east of the I75 freeway.
Be able to lift and carry 50-pound mulch bags though out the day. (This is not every day but throughout the year)
Landscape maintenance experience would be great.
Ability to listen, understand, and follow work directions.
Ability to work in a variety of locations in local neighborhoods.
Experience in operating power equipment a plus.
Responsibilities
Cleans and prepares specific areas of jobsite as assigned. This may include but not limited to digging trenches for irrigation, clearing weeds, cleaning up rubble, debris, and trash.
General duties performed include landscaping, irrigation, maintenance, flower bed creation, vegetation removal and installations.
Use of hand tools and small equipment when required.
Use of line trimmer, hedger, weedwhacker, backpack sprayer, and other equipment when required.
Properly and safely prune shrubs and low trees as needed to improve the shape or growth habit or to remove damaged branches
Responsible for safe, efficient and quality completion of tasks assigned by supervisor.
Reports any issues to supervisor or higher-level employee.
Reports equipment in need of repair to supervisor.
Maintain a polite, friendly, responsive demeanor with guests and customers
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Compensation:
-Starting $16 to $17 per hour
