Drewry Site Development is hiring Experienced Skid Steer Operators for immediate full-time work in Sarasota, FL. We’re looking for operators who are skilled, dependable, and ready to contribute to a fast-paced, team-oriented construction environment.
As an Experienced Skid Steer Operator, you will operate machinery for earthmoving, grading, debris removal, and other site development tasks. You must be efficient, safety-minded, and able to adapt to changing jobsite conditions.
Responsibilities:
-Operate skid steer equipment safely and efficiently
-Move earth, clear debris, and support various construction tasks
-Load and unload equipment from trucks and trailers
-Load trucks with recycled aggregate at our recycling yard
-Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections and reporting issues
-Keep job sites clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety standards
-Complete required paperwork and documentation
-Perform manual labor tasks as needed on the job site
Job Requirements:
-Proven experience as a skid steer operator (required)
-Must pass equipment test (testing done before hiring decision)
-Reliable transportation to assigned job sites
-Ability to lift heavy loads and work outdoors in all conditions
-Strong stamina and ability to work in a physically demanding environment
-Experience as a loader operator is a plus
