Job Overview
Due to business growth and expansion, we are hiring an experienced Residential Electrical Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for a skilled electrician who enjoys working directly with homeowners, diagnosing electrical issues, and confidently presenting solutions and in-person estimates. You will perform residential electrical repairs, upgrades, and installations while delivering excellent customer service and contributing to company growth by selling solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Perform residential electrical services in compliance with NEC, local codes, and company standards
Rewire homes, upgrade electrical panels and meter boxes, and install or replace outlets, switches, and lighting
Troubleshoot electrical issues and identify safety or code-compliance concerns
Clearly explain findings and recommended solutions to homeowners
Create, present, and close in-person estimates for repairs and upgrades
Address customer questions and concerns with professionalism and care
Maintain accurate job documentation, photos, service notes, and invoices
Keep service vehicle clean, organized, and stocked
Follow all safety protocols and company policies
Communicate effectively with dispatch, office staff, and management
Qualifications & Skills
Prior experience as a Residential Electrical Technician or Electrician
Strong troubleshooting and technical skills
Proven sales or upselling experience in a home services environment
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Self-motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Ability to pass background check and drug screening
