We're a Largo based manufacturer that makes wood components hiring an entry level shop helper to assist with material handling. This position has growth opportunity, we cross train motivated individuals to become machine operators. The responsibilities of this position include loading/unloading material from the machines, sorting, lifting, and helping out as needed.
This is an entry level position. Our ideal candidate is eager, reliable, and has strong work ethic with the ability to work hands on and stand for long periods of time. Someone who is willing to learn and pick up on new tasks is necessary.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am-3:00pm. After training you'll move to an earlier shift.
Qualifications:
1. Motivated and eager to learn
2. Ability to read tape measure and or is mechanically inclined.
3. Ability to lift, bend, push and pull up to 50lbs without limitations is required.
4. Reliable transportation with ability to commit to the schedule.
5. Previous warehouse, woodshop, or manufacturing experience a plus. Even if you have experience working at home in the garage with your pops. We are willing to train!
Starting pay: $17.00 per hour with performance based increases after the probationary period w/ great benefits.
