Job Overview:
We are seeking a detailed oriented and reliable Countertop Templater to accurately measure and template countertops for residential and commercial installations. The ideal candidate will use manual and/ or digital tools (such as a laser templating system) to create precise templates that guide countertop fabrication and installation.
Responsibilities:
Travel to customer locations to measure kitchen, bathroom, or custom surfaces for countertop installation.
Use digital templating tools (e.g., Laser Products Industries system) or physical templates to record dimensions.
Communicate with clients and project managers regarding job specifics and requirements.
Verify cabinets are level and properly installed prior to measurement.
Identify and address potential issues that may affect countertop installation.
Record and submit accurate measurements, notes, and photos to the fabrication team.
Ensure customer satisfaction and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time.
Skills:
Experience using laser measuring equipment.
Auto CAD software knowledge.
Understanding of various countertop materials (granite, quartzite, marble, quartz, etc.)
