Key Responsibilities
Dispatch and manage moving crews, trucks, and daily schedules
Coordinate with sales/ops to confirm job details, timing, special requirements, and logistics
Handle real-time changes: delays, route issues, call-outs, add-ons, equipment needs, etc.
Maintain accurate job notes, statuses, and updates inside Granot
Communicate clearly with customers when needed (ETAs, confirmations, issue resolution)
Work closely with foremen/crew leads to ensure productivity and quality standards
Track and resolve problems quickly: staffing gaps, truck capacity, materials, timing conflicts
Ensure paperwork/compliance items are correct (as required for carrier operations)
Requirements (Must-Haves)
Dispatcher experience is a MUST (moving industry strongly preferred)
Previous experience working for a moving carrier is highly preferred
Extensive knowledge of Granot (required)
Working knowledge of RingCentral phone systems (required)
Strong multitasking skills with the ability to stay calm under pressure
Excellent problem-solving and “figure-it-out” mentality
Strong communication skills (with crews + customers + internal teams)
Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
Bonus Points (Nice to Have)
Understanding of truck/crew capacity planning and routing
Familiarity with local + long-distance moving workflows
Ability to de-escalate issues and protect the customer experience
Leadership mindset: proactive, accountable, and solution-driven
