Business Development Officer

Under the general direction of the VP/Director of Marketing, the Business Development Officer serves as a visible ambassador of the Credit Union, responsible for cultivating relationships with members, community partners, and local organizations. This role leads community engagement efforts, represents the Credit Union in media and public events, and promotes products and services through strategic outreach. With a focus on growing membership and deepening financial relationships, the Officer plays a key role in advancing the Credit Union’s mission and presence in the community. The ideal candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field; or 3-4 years of experience in a business development, outreach, communications, public relations, or relationship management role. Experience within a financial institution is preferred but not required.
