Invenio Legal Studio is a law firm focused on arts, intellectual property, cultural property, AI, and corporate and nonprofit governance. We serve creatives of all kinds, and help them bring their ideas into reality to enrich the lives of others.
We were established in 2023 and are in the growth phase. We are offering an Administrative Assistant position on a flexible, make-your-own-hours independent contractor basis, paid weekly. Great for extra holiday cash, and potential to learn about arts law and intellectual property. The Contractor will be responsible for the following duties below, and other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Physical Organization
Sorting, labeling, and organizing physical documents
Creating filing systems for legal, business, and personal documents
Preparing documents for scanning
Digital Organization
Digitizing files (scanning, naming conventions, folder structure)
Organizing and cleaning up digital files on Google Drive and local folders
Creating simple tracking spreadsheets and other organizing documents as needed
Bookkeeping Prep
Entering historical and current business transactions into QuickBooks
Organizing receipts and financial documents
Reconciling past years for accountant readiness
Schedule
10 hours per week, more depending upon the needs.
Flexible hours and onsite work (home office in Makiki).
Compensation
$20 per hour, paid weekly
$25 per hour with bookkeeping and Quickbooks experience
Requirements
Strong attention to detail
Experience with basic bookkeeping or QuickBooks preferred
Confidentiality is a must with documents and data
Reliable, self-directed, and organized
Contract Structure
Independent contractor agreement
Not an employee; no benefits
Assignment ends January 31, 2026. Potential for a new contract thereafter depending on needs of the Firm.
