We are seeking a versatile and highly skilled Carpenter with a minimum of 7 years of experience in residential construction and renovation. The ideal candidate is an experienced journeyman who is proficient in all phases of carpentry, with a proven track record of excellent, detail-oriented finish work.
Responsibilities:
Perform all aspects of residential carpentry, from structural work to complex finishing details.
Formwork: Execute residential-scale concrete formwork for foundations, slabs, and walkways.
Framing: Construct and repair walls, floors, and roofs for new builds and renovations.
High-End Finishing: Install custom millwork, cabinetry, trim, doors, and hardware with a high degree of precision and attention to detail.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to ensure project specifications are met.
Accurately measure, cut, and shape materials using a variety of hand and power tools.
Collaborate effectively with project managers and other tradespeople.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized worksite.
Requirements:
Minimum of 7 years of professional carpentry experience in residential construction and renovation.
Demonstrated experience in both rough and finish carpentry is required, with a clear specialization or aptitude for high-quality finishing.
Must be proficient with all standard carpentry tools and techniques.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and time-management skills.
Possess reliable transportation and a complete, professional set of carpentry tools.
