208 Home care is looking for a compassionate, reliable caregiver to assist an adult client with personal care services.
Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour
Schedule: Looking for care Monday-Thursday, Approximately 3 hr shifts starting in the late morning. The schedule is flexible, but she would like shorter shifts throughout the week. She has 12 hrs per week.
Location: Located off of Locust Ln & Southside Blvd
About the Client:
The client has back issues that make it difficult to clean her home. She has a back brace that she wears to help with support, but does not need assistance putting it on or taking it off. Her husband lives in the home with her but works during the day. She has cats in the home, so the care provider must be okay with cats. She doesn’t want someone that smokes or vapes.
Responsibilities:
She only needs stand-by assistance for mobility/transferring. The majority of the help needed is with light housekeeping, including dusting, emptying the dishwasher, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming.
Ideal Candidate:
Able to pass a background check through the Idaho Department of Health & Welfare
Able to pass a urine drug test (Prescribed medication is acceptable)
Must complete Direct Care Professional (DCP) Training or have equivalent training certificate (exempt w/ CNA/LPN/RN License). The agency can help you get registered for this training and there is no cost associated with it.
Must have a valid form of government-issued Identification and proof of Employment Authorization to work in the United States.
Able to follow HIPAA guidelines, document accurately, and communicate effectively with your client and with the office.
