Tree Sercice Maintenance/Equipment Manager (Nampa)

We are a professional tree service company committed to safety, efficiency, and quality work. With a fleet of 30+ trucks, trailers, and specialty equipment, we depend on a skilled Maintenance & Equipment Manager to keep our operation running smoothly.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Maintenance / Equipment Manager to oversee and perform regular maintenance, inspections, and repairs on our fleet of trucks, trailers, chippers, and other heavy equipment. We use a stand alone Maintenance Program to keep track of everything to simplify tracking everything. This position is critical to ensuring job-site safety, minimizing downtime, and extending the life of our equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on wood chippers, including blade changes, lubrication, belt adjustments, and troubleshooting.

Conduct regular oil changes, fluid checks, and preventative maintenance on trucks, trailers, and equipment.

Maintain service logs, inspection reports, and maintenance schedules.

Order parts, fluids, and supplies as needed while managing inventory.

Diagnose mechanical issues and coordinate with outside repair shops when necessary.

Ensure all equipment is safe, compliant, and ready for daily operations.

Work closely with the operations team to track equipment usage and downtime.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in fleet or equipment maintenance (preferred: tree service, landscaping, construction, or similar industry).

Knowledge of diesel/gas engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.

Ability to troubleshoot and repair chippers and small engine equipment.

Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required).
