We design, install and service HVAC systems creating heating and cooling solutions across Idaho’s four seasons. We pride ourselves on a strong team culture and quality craftsmanship. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC Installation Technician to join our team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Install new HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and ventilation components
Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and mechanical plans to ensure accurate installation according to manufacturer and local code specifications
Safely and properly connect electrical wiring (low and line voltage), gas lines, and copper refrigerant lines, including brazing and soldering as needed
Perform system start-ups, verifying proper equipment sizing, airflow, and operation
Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues efficiently at the job site
Communicate professionally with homeowners, builders, and project managers
Responsible for delivery of excellent customer service and sustaining high levels of customer satisfaction
Represents the company professionally, honestly, and ethically in all business matters and activities
Adheres to all safety regulations and company policies, maintaining a clean and organized job site and work vehicle
Using hand-held device records all required information on work orders. Completes all forms and paperwork in a neat, timely, complete, and accurate manner.
Ensures company property, vehicles, and tools are being used, maintained, and properly accounted for
Follows standard procedures and process, ensures that the company vehicle is properly stocked, returns defective warranty parts to the office, and orders/replenishes vehicle stock as needed
Performs similar/other duties as needed or assigned including service work

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED and minimum 2 to 5 years’ experience in HVAC installation
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Proficient mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate all necessary tools and equipment
Proficient at reading wiring diagrams and troubleshooting problems with electrical, refrigerant and duct systems on HVAC equipment
Proficient and able to properly start up and balance airflow and to properly align belts and pulleys on all systems with little to no supervision
Proficient and able to install a basic duct fitting
Proficient at troubleshooting and repairing electronic air cleaners, refrigeration systems, hot water systems, steam boiler systems, humidifiers, and related equipment with little to no supervision
Effective communication skills to communicate with customers and resolve customer issues, complaints, or concerns
Effective and efficient time-management and organizational skills
Available to work flexible hours
Ability to stand and walk and to climb ladders and attic stairs and to maneuver in attics, basements, and crawl spaces to access HVAC units. Ability to continually climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl.
Ability to work in a variety of environmental conditions, including but not limited to the following: hot, cold, outdoor, outdoor, indoor, dry, humid, slippery surfaces, heights, and congested areas
Ability to safely climb ladders with a 30lb tool belt
Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 70 pounds
Education:
School Requirements: GED or equivalent work experience required.
Certifications: EPA 608 Certification. NATE and Safety certifications are preferred.
