Windstar Lines is hiring professional drivers to join our team for a long-term shuttle transportation project in Boise, Idaho. As a Shuttle Driver, you will play a vital role in providing safe and efficient transportation services. Your primary responsibility will be to transport passengers to their destinations while ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience. You will leverage your driving expertise and customer service skills to create a positive atmosphere for all riders. Join us in making every journey memorable!
What you’ll do
Safely operate a 30-passenger transit buses on fixed shuttle routes around a construction site.
Keep to scheduled routes and timelines with professionalism and precision.
Provide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers with boarding and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with maintenance standards.
Maintain accurate records of trips, passenger counts, and vehicle maintenance logs.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while promoting a safe driving environment for passengers and other road users.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding schedules, delays, or any issues that may arise during transit.
Assist with paratransit services as needed, ensuring accessibility for all passengers.
Foster a welcoming atmosphere by engaging with passengers during their journey.
Schedule
Full and Part-time positions available.
Shuttle services run 6 days per week for 2 weeks, followed by a 5-day week rotation.
Day and Night shifts available.
Occasional Sunday or holiday shifts my be required with advance notice.
Qualifications
Valid CDL (Class B or higher) with passenger endorsement.
Clean driving record and current DOT medical card.
Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing (DOT compliant).
