Joey’s Movers is a full-service moving company serving the Chicagoland area. We are currently hiring professional drivers to operate 16–26 ft box trucks and lead residential and commercial moves.
Positions Available:
Mover/Driver (Class D)
Mover/Driver (Class C)
We Offer:
Up to $30 per hour (based on experience and role)
Flexible schedule
$1,000 sign-on bonus for qualified Class C & D drivers (paid after successful completion of the introductory period)
Paid training
Driver Responsibilities:
Safely operate 16–26 ft box trucks in city and suburban traffic
Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Transport customer belongings between locations
Lift and carry boxes and furniture (75 lbs+), including stairs as needed
Wrap and protect items/furniture with pads and materials provided
Assist with furniture disassembly/reassembly when required
Provide professional, courteous customer service on every job
Lead or support the moving crew on-site as needed
About You:
Valid Class D or C driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
Comfortable driving 16–26 ft box trucks
Able to lift at least 75 lbs and handle stairs and long walks throughout the day
Able to work in all weather conditions
Friendly, reliable, and customer-service driven
