About Our Family –

We are a busy family of four living in Oak Park, IL. Both parents work full-time, with one having a regular office schedule and the other a more flexible, unpredictable schedule. Our two young children are in daycare, and we also have a friendly and loving dog who brings joy to our home.

With our busy professional lives and family routines, we’re seeking someone who can help create a peaceful, tidy home environment that allows us to focus on spending quality time together. This role is designed to bring reliability, calm, and smooth organization to our day-to-day routines, ensuring the household runs efficiently and everyone’s needs are met.

Who You Are / What We’re Looking For –

We’re looking for someone who is warm, organized, and proactive — someone who can handle the daily needs of our home with ease and efficiency. You are comfortable managing multiple tasks independently and take pride in bringing calm and organization to a busy household. While this is not a child-centric role, we need someone who is flexible and able to step in when light childcare or backup support is needed.

Ideal Qualities:

- Highly organized — you enjoy creating order from chaos and paying attention to the little details that make a big difference.

- Proactive and self-sufficient — you don’t wait to be told what to do and can anticipate needs before they arise.

- Warm and approachable — you bring a positive attitude and a calm demeanor into the home, especially when juggling various tasks.

- Reliable — we value someone who follows through on tasks and can be counted on to manage household responsibilities independently.

- Flexible and adaptable — you can pivot when needed and remain calm, even when schedules change or unexpected tasks arise.

- Clear communicator — you keep us updated and check in when needed, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and to the family’s standards.

- Confident – you feel comfortable bringing ideas and suggestions to the table — especially when it comes to improving the flow and rhythm of the home.

Clean humidifiers, washing machines, HVAC vents, and air purifiers as needed.

Clean pellet ice machine every two weeks.

Ensure vehicles are fueled, cleaned, and organized as needed.
