PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
This project consists of Miscellaneous Roadway Structures at Various Locations in Allegany, Garrett, and Washington Counties. The work may consist of many small projects at multiple locations throughout the counties.
This work includes but is not limited to the following:
Curb removal and replacement, Remove and replace concrete deck or portions thereof, Repair concrete or block slope protection, Repair of damaged reinforcing or structural steel, Repair of miscellaneous painted areas, Remove, repair, and replace damaged railing or balustrade. The Contractor may be directed to remove balustrade and replace with steel beam traffic barrier, Remove, replace bridge sidewalk, etc., Repair of scupper and drain systems, Repair piers, pier caps, abutments or incidental structures, Respond to and assist in the clean-up operations following natural disasters, Asphalt and/or concrete patching for bridge approaches, Repair of Salt Storage Facilities.
