We are looking to expand operations by adding a CNC Setup Machinist in the Swiss Lathe department.
Requirements
5+ years of CNC Swiss Machining experience preferred
Experience machining various materials
Experience with tight (+/- .0002) tolerances, geometric tolerancing
Set up and operate CNC Swiss machines
Able to read and understand drawings/blueprints
About the Role
We use Citizen machines. We typically work on jobs that are long-running with short cycle times. The parts are smaller than a walnut. We tend to do tricky and complicated jobs with tight tolerances. Job often run continuously, sometimes making tens of thousands of pieces. This means that the challenges are mainly creating strong programs and fixtures rather than performing a lot of quick setups. We periodically upgrade our older fixtures and programs to improve processing time and you will be a part of that effort.

We offer a modernized facility with newer equipment. For 40 years, the company has taken components from pre-production prototyping through high volume production with quantities in the 100,000s and up. Our shop is very clean and we have a commitment to utilizing top-of-the-line equipment to achieve exacting quality standards. We produce high-volume, high-precision machined components mainly for medical devices. We shipped over 8,000,000 custom CNC-machined parts in 2024 and we are on track to ship close to 9,000,000 parts in 2025. Many of our tolerances are as tight as +/-.0002” Most of the parts we make are smaller than a grain of rice.
