Overnight Machine Operator

Sika is looking for an experienced Overnight Machine Operator to join its growing team in the Canton, MA area for our Roofing business.The Machine Operator is responsible for ensuring successful operation of their respective part of the M48 spreadcoating line. Their primary function will be to ensure the safe and proper operation of a designated portion of the M48 spreadcoating line.Oversee startup, shutdown, and operation of key pieces of equipmentCommunicate effectively and in a professional manner with the teamBasic troubleshooting of equipment and knowledge of how to handle specific situations/issuesCommunicate issues and concerns to both maintenance and managementIdentify hazards and anomalies in the process and communicate them to the appropriate partiesMaintain a positive relationship with both Maintenance and Quality Assurance and seek them out when neededResponsible for cleanliness and safe operation of designated work areaDaily attendance at a pre-shift starter meeting is requiredEngagement in SikaSafe safety program requiredRelieve operators for breaks
