We are seeking an experienced senior tax accountant for our CPA firm located in the Mid-Cape area. This person must have comprehensive corporate and individual tax preparation and review experience, a solid understanding of what is needed to “close the books,” can clearly articulate the use of debits and credits with general ledger entries, be able to “trouble-shoot” and advise clients on various accounting and tax matters, and prepare tax projections.
Must be able to navigate QuickBooks (both Desktop and Online preferred) and can effectively use Excel spreadsheet software. UltraTax software experience is preferred, but not required.
We are a small local firm that uses a hybrid of paper-based and electronic documentation storage, with a casual, friendly, and upbeat work environment.
The right candidate would be open and able to step into the partner role over the next few years (or sooner).
