POSITION:
Live-In Caregiver – Ideal for someone seeking both employment and living arrangements.
DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a dedicated, reliable, caring, friendly caregiver who can work independently and efficiently.
Requirements:
-Must work well with others and speak English
-Easy-going and able to live peacefully with other staff in a shared environment
-No drug, alcohol, or tobacco use
-Able to work a combination of 13-hour and 24-hour shifts, including some weekends/holidays
-Comfortable communicating with owners/managers via text
-Able to administer medications using a computer system
-Experience with caring for seniors and dementia care
-Clean, organized residential home setting
-Become part of a supportive team and family-like environment
-This role requires high energy, consistent movement, and the ability to complete tasks promptly throughout the shift.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
-Companionship and engagement
-Light housekeeping and meal preparation
-Medication administration
-Assistance with all ADLs: grooming, bathing, transfers, toileting, incontinence care
-Must have physical ability to provide hands-on care, including changing briefs, lifting/assisting into wheelchairs, and using a Hoyer lift
-Treat residents and their property with dignity and respect
