The Rock House Grill & Tavern has an immediate opening for a part-time Janitor to join their team in Houghton, Michigan.
In this role, you’ll help ensure that our restaurant, game room, and event areas are spotless and welcoming for guests. You’ll work mornings before the guests arrive, helping to maintain a fun, family-friendly environment that people enjoy year-round.
WHAT WE OFFER.
$16.00 - $20.00 per hour based on your experience.
Morning shifts, 20–25 hours per week with a flexible schedule. Your choice of 5 or 6 days a week (no Mondays).
Opportunity to pick up more hours in the future.

WHAT YOU WILL DO.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, floors, and public areas.
Sweep, mop, and vacuum throughout the facility.
Empty trash, clean glass, and restock supplies.
Monitor and report maintenance or repair needs.
Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are properly stored.
Work closely with management to support a clean and safe environment for both staff and guests.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.
Must be 17 years of age or older.
Prior cleaning or janitorial experience is helpful but not required — we’re happy to train the right person.
Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Comfortable working independently and managing time efficiently.
Physically able to stand, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds.
Attention to detail and pride in keeping things looking their best.
Friendly attitude and a team-player mindset.
