Who We Are: HEATHER L POOLE PC Immigration Lawyers, a national immigration specialty firm focusing on complex family immigration & removal defense

Responsibilities:

Draft motions, briefs, applications, respond to RFEs/NOIDs, and prepare evidence for cases before Immigration Court, DOS, BIA, ICE, and USCIS.

Work with clients and staff to ensure timely submission of casework, answer client questions, and manage caseload

Stay updated on changes in immigration law and policies, attend CLEs as needed

Review forms and writing (including drafted by support staff) for accuracy, and compliance with agency guidelines

Qualifications:

You have a positive attitude and see challenges as exciting problems to solve

JD and active bar license

3+ years with EOIR practice

3+ years experience with USCIS and DOS practice

Excellent writing and verbal communication skills

Bilingual (Spanish a plus)

Strong legal research and analytical skills

Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a remote team.

Proactive and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency with MS Word, Outlook, Office365, Adobe, and experience working with immigration forms software

Compensation. Rate is hourly commensurate with experience. If willing to appear at EOIR hearings and USCIS hearings, rate will be higher.
