KMI Mechanical Inc is looking for an experienced Plumber to join our team. We are a small family owned business that has been in business for over 40 years. We are a family business that takes pride in the work we do and the relationships we build with our customers.
We are looking for a highly motivated, self-starter who is looking to grow their career in the plumbing industry.
Responsibilities
Disconnect and install pipes, fixtures, valves, and other utility equipment
Construct, repair, and install pipes, conduits, valves, and other pipe and pipe-like equipment
Clean, strip, and sanitize plumbing systems
Maintain customer relationships by providing excellent service
Perform maintenance on plumbing systems (replacing pipes with better pipes or repairing broken pipes)
Identify problems with water supply and ensure that there is always enough water to meet customer needs
Work as an independent contractor to purchase supplies and install new pipes
Identify safety risks and raise issues regarding emergency situations
Other duties as assigned by manager
Required Experience:
·High School Diploma or GED required
·2+ years of plumbing experience required
·Ability to read blueprints required
·Basic math skills (addition and subtraction) required
·Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required
·Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions required
·Ability to drive a company vehicle in all weather conditions required
·Ability to safely operate a manual transmission vehicle required
