Type: Full-time, Staff AugmentationProject OverviewThe engineer will support and maintain the current VMware Workspace ONE (AirWatch) environment while partnering with the Endpoint Engineering Team on planning and executing a future migration to Microsoft Intune. The role is hands-on and requires in-person support at Metro Council facilities.Core ResponsibilitiesManage and support the AirWatch MDM platform: device enrollment, policy configuration, compliance, and application deployment for iOS and Android.Provide Tier 2/3 mobile support across iOS, Android, and Windows.Manage cellular carrier portals (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile) for activations and support.Work with security teams to ensure mobile standards and compliance.Track performance, reporting, and implement improvements.Support Intune migration planning: assessments, documentation, pilots, and collaboration with stakeholders.Create and maintain SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.Share industry trends and best practices with leadership.Provide knowledge transfer.
