We are seeking an experienced sewist to work on an hourly on-call/independent vendor basis. Must be available with relatively short notice (usually 1-3 days), though more advanced notice will be provided when available, to work within our headquarters in Lenexa, KS.
The following sewing skills are required:
Key tasks will be to assist with bridal gown alteration and repairs.
Attention to detail, a sharp eye, and high-quality standards are a must. Quick turn-around is often required. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
The following sewing skills are required:
Replacing hanger and train loops
Sewing on and replacing buttons
General tacking-must know how to tack seamlessly and not have visible stitches
Replacing/changing boning
Adjusting bust cups
Sew lace motifs and lace placement adjustment
Remove stains, dirt, or water marks
