Construction Laborer / Framer (Full-Time)

Location: [Bozeman, MT] — Local sites within a 30–60 mile radius

Type: Full-time (preferred), hourly; flexible hours, PTO after 3 months

Pay: $30–$45+/hr DOE + biweekly pay; benefits after 6 months

About the role:

Suisse & Sons is a small family-owned and operated company seeking hard-working, reliable construction laborers and framers to join a growing crew building residential and light-commercial projects. No experience necessary, we are able to provide on-the-job training for all required tasks. Plenty of potential to grow with the company and become a friend to your coworkers.

Key responsibilities:

Frame walls, roofs, floors; install sheathing, headers, and basic trusses.

Measure, cut, and assemble lumber and components.

Load/unload materials, move supplies, and operate hand tools and basic power tools.

Set up and break down scaffolding, bracing, and temporary supports.

Clean and maintain jobsite; follow waste removal and material staging procedures.

Follow safety protocols, use PPE, and report hazards or incidents promptly.

Occasionally assist with drywall, siding, roofing, or finish carpentry as needed.

Required qualifications:

Ability to learn quickly and follow instructions.

Comfortable using saws, nail guns, hammers, levels, tape measures, and drills.

Physically fit: able to lift 50+ lbs, stand, climb, and work outdoors in varying weather.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites.

Dependable, punctual, and able to work diligently.

Ability to work well in a team.

Preferred qualifications:

1+ year of carpentry/framing or laboring.

Forklift, scissor lift, or skid-steer experience and relevant certifications.

Benefits:

Typical schedule:

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (subject to project needs).
