McGowen Precision Barrels is seeking a Self Starting Experienced Machinist to Perform several machining operations in the Rifle Barrel Industry.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to. Contouring Rifle Barrel Contours in many configurations. Fluting Barrels, Cutting octagon Barrels, Programming and maintaining the programs for dimensional accuracy. Maintaining Preventive maintenance on CNC equipment.
Qualifications:
CNC Operational capability on Vertical Mills And Horizontal Lathes.
CAD/CAM Programming
Motivated and reliable work ethic
Attention to detail in all tasks
Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes
Ability to work in a production environment
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production role
Basic knowledge of firearms and barrel specifications
