MINIMUM REQUIRMENTS:
3-5 Years of experience in commercial electrical.
OSHA 10 card.
Valid Driver License.
Own hand and power tools.
Must have transportation.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Proficient at bending electrical conduit all sizes ½” to 4” EMT and GRC
Understanding branch circuitry, lighting controls and low voltage systems.
Experience in working with different voltages, 120v to 480v.
Work under the supervision of a Foreman or Superintendent
Implement OSHA safety practices
Daily lays out work and preps materials for installation.
Understands NEC requirements, local codes.
Performs underground layout and rough-in.
Determines wire sizing
Determines conduit sizing.
Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles and installs electrical conduit using measuring devices, hand tools, threaders and hand or mechanical benders.
Performs switchgear installation and terminations.
Install and wire pad mount transformers 30 kva to 112.5kva
Installs and connects power supply wiring, cables, conduit, and electrical apparatus in new and existing facilities following diagrams, schematics, or blueprints.
Troubleshoots and resolves problems in electrical circuits, systems, and equipment.
Operates any hand tools and equipment necessary to perform all associated tasks.
Performs other project related duties and assignments as instructed by supervisor.
