Smithridge Greens #1 HOA is seeking a motivated and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team in Reno, NV. This is a hands-on position responsible for maintaining the beauty, functionality, and safety of our 164-unit condominium community. Responsibilities:

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for a variety of tasks across the property, including but not limited to:

Landscape and Grounds Maintenance

Routine Lawn Care: Mowing, weeding, trimming, and edging common areas and lawns.

Seasonal Cleanup: Performing thorough fall leaf cleanup and preparing the grounds for seasonal changes, including snow removal, as needed.

Irrigation/Sprinkler System: Conducting basic maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of the community sprinkler systems.

Debris Removal: Keeping common areas, parking lots, and walkways clear of trash, debris, and pet waste.

General Handyman Repairs

Performing light carpentry (e.g., repairing fence boards, replacing trim).

Conducting minor plumbing repairs (e.g., fixing leaky spigots, clearing simple clogs).

Performing minor electrical work (e.g., changing outdoor light bulbs, replacing faulty outlets).

Executing general repairs to common area structures, signage, and exterior features.

Pool and Facility Maintenance

Performing basic pool maintenance, including skimming, vacuuming, and monitoring chemical levels to ensure safety and clarity.

Maintaining common facilities such as the clubhouse, mail areas, and laundry facilities.

Qualifications and Requirements

Experience: Proven experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, and general property maintenance.

Skills: Demonstrated handyman skills across basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.

Pool Knowledge: Familiarity with basic pool maintenance and safety procedures.

Communication: English speaking a plus, to communicate with the HOA Board and residents.

Equipment: Possession of a personal truck or utility vehicle is helpful for transporting tools and materials, though not strictly required.

Physical Ability: Must be able to perform physical labor, lift moderate weight, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Compensation

Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.
