Power BI Developer

The Power BI Developer is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of business intelligence solutions. This role collaborates with various business units to gather reporting requirements and translate them into Business Intelligence solutionsCreate and maintain dynamic, visually compelling dashboards and reports using Power BI. Work closely with the business to understand requirements and workshop solutionsDevelop and optimize robust data models to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of reporting solutions.Work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand business requirements for data analysis and visualisation.Connect to, integrate, and transform data from multiple sources (e.g., SQL databases, Excel, BigQuery) using Power Query.Use Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) to build advanced calculations, measures, and calculated columns for in-depth data analysis.Ensure high performance of reports and dashboards by optimizing queries and data models.Implement data security best practices, including row-level security, to ensure data privacy and compliance.
