Physician Assistant
Location: Glen Ridge, NJ 07028
Salary: $120,000 – $125,000 annually
Responsibilities:
Interview, examine, and diagnose patients’ illnesses
Order and interpret diagnostic tests
Prescribe medications and recommend lifestyle modifications
Perform suturing and first assist in the OR
Review and maintain patient medical histories and track progress
Educate and counsel patients and their families
Stay current on treatments, innovations, and advances in the bariatric field
Complete required clinical training and maintain certification through 100 hours of continuing education every two years
Qualifications:
Active State License to practice medicine
Board Certified Physician Assistant
Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies
ACLS & BLS Certification
Infectious Disease Certification
Strong analytical and technical skills
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills
Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
