Oversee day-to-day operations of a warehouse. Daily operations include receiving, inventory, preparing materials for daily delivery.
Specifically:
· Receiving materials and unloading trucks with forklift.
· Unload/load incoming and outgoing materials by using equipment such as forklift, pallet jacks/handtrucks and etc.
· Inspect and report damages to shipments
· Keep warehouse clean
· Strong work ethic and organizational skills
· Ability to lift 50 or more pounds without assistance
· Be able to prioritize tasks and multitask
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to anticipate and solve problems.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
· Manage time well, prioritizing tasks based on urgency, requirements, and how long they may take to complete.
· Proven experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse environment.
· Computer knowledge.
· Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and experience in implementing safety protocols.
· I-9 form qualified
