CNC Milling Set Up
Take programs & load them into the machines.
Get all the tooling together & be sure everything matches the traveler & set up sheets.
Put all the tools in the machine & be sure the process matches the traveler.
Run 1st pc until the part checks to the print.
Submit part to inspection for 1st pc approval.
Make any necessary adjustments to the program & part that are necessary to make a good part.
After everything is proven out, be sure the traveler is up dated.
Put operator on the job, making sure they understand the job. From deburring to inspection.
This position is considered a set up position, but there might be times that there is not enough set up work & you might have to run some production.
This person will also do short run parts which could consist of 1 to 5 pcs.
We program with Espree & there is the opportunity to be able to program a lot of the jobs you set up.
This is a first shift position with benefits.
