Fast paced, busy restaurant seeking SERVER for local eatery. Responsibilities include taking food and beverage orders from guests and delivering them in a timely and efficient manner, excellent customer service skills, as well as knowledge of the menu and bar offerings.
Specific job duties include:
Greeting guests as they arrive and making them feel welcome.
Taking food and beverage orders from guests and entering them into the POS system.
Serving food and beverages to guests and ensuring accuracy of orders.
Handling cash and credit card transactions and processing payments.
Assisting with table set-up and clean-up, including resetting tables and removing dirty dishes.
Contributing in open and close procedures.
Upselling food and beverage items to increase sales and revenue.
Maintaining knowledge of the menu and bar offerings, including ingredients and preparation methods.
Adhering to all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
