Position Overview:
As a Forklift Driver, your main responsibility will be to safely and efficiently operate a Clamp or Propane Forklift to move, stack, and manage inventory within a warehouse or distribution environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate Clamp or Propane Forklifts with precision and care
Load/unload trucks and containers
Stack and organize products in designated storage areas
Accurately manage physical inventory and complete paperwork
Perform routine forklift inspections and report maintenance needs
Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate safety gear (including harness)
Assist with warehouse tasks such as sweeping aisles, breaking down corrugate, and using the compactor
Help load local delivery trucks or unload received shipments
Support floor stock replenishment and inventory scanning
Requirements:
Experience operating a Clamp or Propane forklift (required)
Able to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods
Fluent in English
Comfortable with day and evening shifts
Willingness to assist with general warehouse cleanup when needed
Computer skills for scanning and inventory tasks
Dependable, team-oriented, and detail-focused
Schedule:
Initial Phase: Sun–Thurs (approx. 4–6 weeks) — 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM (Loading trucks)
Training Phase: Mon–Fri (approx. 2 weeks) — 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Final Schedule: Sun–Thurs — 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM
