Warehouse Assistant Manager -Amityville, NY
Day Shift 7am - 3pm

Job Description
Supervise of 6 +/- employees
Hands-on, able and willing to work alongside staff
Proficient knowledge with riding pallet jacks and hi-lo machines
Assist personnel with daily unloading and loading
Able to communicate well, English Required, Spanish is a plus
Assist other shifts when necessary
Responsibilities to include
Ensure timely unloading of incoming deliveries
Check for quality, variety and quantity of products on each order
Inform purchasing and sales department of short stocked or overstock items
Manage and schedule employee’s work schedules (daily/weekly)
Checking accuracy of orders being selected for delivery to customers
Self-motivated and ambitious
Ability to wear many hats and be flexible
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Physical demands include, but are not limited to, reaching, stooping/bending, squatting, lifting / carrying objects 5 to 40 lbs., pushing/pulling up objects, and occasional lifting objects over 40 lbs.
Will be exposed to various temperature changes and work environments
