Wholesale Company – Full-Time Office Administrator / Bookkeeper
Location: Brooklyn, NY near Kings Plaza
We are a growing wholesale company located in Brooklyn, NY, seeking a full-time General Office Administrator / Bookkeeper to support our daily office operations, accounting tasks, and shipping backend work.
Responsibilities
Handle Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable
Post customer payments (cash, checks, credit cards)
Maintain and update QuickBooks records and inventory logs
Track unpaid invoices and update receivables
Maintain accurate records of invoices, debits, and credits
Investigate and resolve account discrepancies
Enter adjusting journal entries as needed
Prepare monthly A/R summaries and reports
Assist with shipping labels and backend office tasks
Communicate with customers and vendors
Maintain confidentiality of financial information
Perform other related administrative and accounting duties as needed
Minimum Qualifications but not mandatory
Strong knowledge of QuickBooks
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general computer systems
Understanding of journal entries and general ledger flow
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and reliable
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced office environment
