A growing tax and accounting firm in New York City is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant (15–20 hours per week) to provide support to our busy professional team.
We are looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and dependable, with strong communication skills and a professional demeanor. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced but collaborative office environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide administrative and clerical support to partners and staff throughout the year
Handle client correspondence, phone calls, and appointment scheduling
Organize and maintain electronic and paper client records
Assist with document preparation, scanning, and e-filing
Support workflow during the busy tax season and assist with ongoing firm operations
Qualifications:
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient with computers and standard office software (Microsoft Office Suite - Excel is a Plus)
Professional, reliable, and proactive
