We are seeking a dynamic Business Controller to join our Control & Analytics team stationed in Amsterdam HO and drive success in our thriving Italy and France markets. This role is pivotal in providing strategic insights and supporting sustainable business growth in these markets, where we have big ambitions to gain even more brand awareness and build an omni-channel brand and community. Both countries experience booming expansion despite different level of maturity (Italy with its rapid expansion since 2022 to 50 stores offers exciting challenges and growth opportunities while France, established in 2015, now with 180 stores, is still growing!). Your role will be crucial in achieving our sales and EBITDA goals. In this role, you will notably:Engage with local stakeholders across all departments represented locally (Retail, Real Estate, WHS, Marketing, HR) fostering strong partnerships to enhance business performance in Italy and France.Collaborate with the Head of Business Control for Southern Europe and the whole Control & Analytics team to harness data-driven insights and strategies.Provide essential insights and advice to drive sustainable business growth in mainly Italy and France. This role offers opportunities to advance your expertise in business control, supported by mentorship and development from senior team members, with the potential to take on more responsibility as you grow. Ultimately, your work will play a key role in ensuring Rituals achieve its sales and EBITDA objectives.YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES As a Business Controller Italy and France, you will report to the Head of Business Control Southern & Eastern Europe. You are part of the central Control & Analytics team, stationed in Amsterdam. From our central head office, you will maintain a close relation with the local head office, with a primarily focus on Italy and France and will support your local market teams in to reach the Sales and Ebitda objectives by building partnerships with the Business and pro-actively supporting your stakeholders in realizing their results. Your role include:Analyze Consumer Sales Drivers: Develop a comprehensive understanding of consumer sales dynamics, including (Online) Store Sales & KPIs, and assess the influence of the commercial calendar on your region.Drive Retail and Digital Success: Support local market leaders, especially the Heads of Retail by establishing ambitious yet achievable store targets and personnel budgets, while delivering insightful, actionable reports.Be a proactive business partner to enable our local stakeholders, starting with mainly Italy, to steer their objectives, by providing insights at every level (sales, personnel, cost control, marketing, real estate, etc.) and every line of business (retail, wholesale, digital)Strengthen Planning and Control: Contribute to the Plan & Control cycle by providing transparent insights into expansion plans, performance, and cost management, helping elevate strategic decision-making with fresh, data-driven perspectivesProfessional Development Opportunities: This role offers a robust pathway to enhance your expertise in business control, with ongoing mentorship and skill development from senior team members.
