We are currently seeking NEMT (Non-Emergency Medical Transportation) Drivers and Dispatchers to join our team of exceptionally skilled and committed non-medical emergency transportation specialists. Our interest but not limited to: Bus drivers, Former Fire fighters, Former Ems, Retired Military, Uber, Lyft, Taxi, FedEx, UPS, Amazon, and any others that meet our opportunity criteria. We support a diverse team structure of female and male members that can show up and get the job done.
Driver Opportunities: Ambulatory, Wheelchair and Gurney/Stretcher
Shift and Schedule: Full time & Part time with On-call Evenings and After hrs.
Certifications welcomed: First Aid, CPR-Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
Responsibilities
Safely operate a vehicle to transport clients to and from medical appointments.
Load and unload clients ensuring comfort and safety.
Maintain effective and punctual communication with clients
Provide excellent customer service, addressing client needs and concerns.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
Maintain and update digital records of scheduled trips.
Understand GPS – Navigations and apps
Communicate any Incidents/Accidents as you become aware immediately to the Fleet Manager or Dispatch.
Requirements
Live within 35 Minutes from Durham, Raleigh or Chapel hill, NC
Be at least 21 years of age (w/No Points on License) or
25 Years of age or older (w/2 points or Less on License)
Possess a valid North Carolina driver’s license
Able to assist clients from there door to our vehicle if needed.
Be a U.S. citizen or legal resident
Excellent Communication Skills (English)
Pass an alcohol and drug screening
Pass a criminal background check
Pass a DOT Physical or have a current Certification
Own an iPhone or Android smart phone (on start date)
Be willing to work a flexible schedule (3-4 day minimum)
Performance Scale
Our pay rate is based on experience and skill level. Compensation expectations will be discussed in the interviewing process.
