Early Career Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologist

The Early Career Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologist will support senior-level engineers and geologists in executing a variety of geotechnical projects within open-pit mining. This role requires a working knowledge of engineering and geology principles, and the ability to manage and deliver on multiple projects simultaneously.Typical project roles and responsibilities include:Field work, including geotechnical core logging, face mapping, downhole geophysical logging, and installation of instrumentation and monitoring equipmentPreparation and analysis of analytical and numerical slope stability modelsJoint set and shear zone characterization and kinematic analysisRock and soil materials characterization and laboratory test planningEvaluation and analysis of instrumentation and monitoring dataGeneral support of open-pit geotechnical projects of all types
