Our niche is in the hospitality market (restaurants & hotels), producing high-quality, very detailed, custom millwork. Our goal is to exceed the expectations of our clients on every project.
Job Summary: Skilled cabinetmaker craftsman responsible for building any specialty request from start to finish.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Able to build cabinets and large millwork systems such as bars, receptions desks, display bookcases, etc. from shop drawings with materials such as hardwoods, veneer, and laminates. May also include specialty materials such as glass, stone and metal.
Works closely with the Production Manager and Project Managers to review the shop drawings and understand how a system is to be constructed; can layout a storyboard, a cut list, sequence veneer, and process materials.
Able to operate a variety of woodworking machines and various hand tools to fabricate cabinets and high-end millwork.
Leads in the execution of each project system within the safety requirements of American Woodworking.
Able to mentor, train, and assist apprentice cabinet makers.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of 8+ years of experience as a cabinet maker.
Must have understanding and knowledge of all aspects of millwork and cabinet making.
Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts and measurements.
Good communication and people skills demonstrated through effective verbal communication.
Has a complete set of tools necessary to perform and complete the project assigned.
Personal interview and Bench Test may be required.
Salary compensation based on experience.
