We are looking for a DEPENDABLE service writer to join our team at a fast-paced independent general automotive repair shop.
As a service writer, you are expected to:
-Be the main communication between our valued customers and technicians
-Interact with the customers, listen to their questions and concerns, and provide timely responses
-Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
-Schedule appointments, develop estimates for services, create repair orders, sell services, order parts, monitor service progress, calculate charges, and process payments
-All other duties assigned
Candidates must have customer service skills, the ability to multi-task, and general knowledge of automobiles. Prior service writing experience is a plus but we are willing to train the right person. A valid driver's license and a good driving record are required.
