Refrigeration and Electronic Diagnostics / Repair Technician.

CHILLER UPTIME TECHNOLOGIES, LLC is a well-recognized, high-tech chiller and heat exchanger repair company. CUT was established in 2006 to support high-tech industries such as semiconductor and aerospace. It has facilities in Springfield, OR and San Leandro, CA.

We are looking for someone to repair high tech refrigeration systems and or PLC based control systems. Knowledge of semiconductor industry a plus. Requires a self-starter with ability to work and communicate with others. Service work includes electrical, control system, and instrument diagnostics.

Compensation includes paid vacation, holidays, profit sharing via yearend bonus. Pay rate dependent on experience. Performance review after first month.

General qualities we expect from applicants:

Ability to use basic hand and power tool; ability to use electronic test equipment

Demonstrated ability to represent the company in a dependable and professional manner

Must have, or be able to obtain EPA Universal certification within 3 months if you have the qualifying electrical background.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS.

Strong attention to detail

Highly motivated self-starter capable of working independently as well as in a small group setting.

Ability to perform mathematical calculations

Troubleshoot electronic systems and perform repairs

Basic technical knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks following detailed instructions, performs such tasks as replacing components, wiring circuits, repairing electronic equipment; and taking test readings using common instruments such as digital multi-meters, signal generators.

Knowledge of refrigeration systems, coolant systems, refrigeration recovery, vacuum systems, copper braising, plumbing, and HVAC technology.

Knowledge of PLC based control systems in instrumentation.

Be able to hold a security clearance if necessary.

Clean Driving Record.
