We’re looking for a Hyperbaric Technician to join our team and play an important role in delivering hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) to our patients.

Position Summary:

The Hyperbaric Technician operates and maintains the clinic’s hyperbaric chambers, ensuring patient safety and comfort during all HBOT sessions. This role includes preparing patients for treatment, monitoring chamber operations, and assisting the clinical team in providing a high standard of care.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor monoplace hyperbaric chambers in accordance with clinic protocols and safety standards.

Prepare patients for HBOT sessions and ensure they understand procedures and safety guidelines.

Observe patients during therapy and communicate with clinical staff regarding any changes in condition.

Maintain and document daily equipment checks, treatment logs, and maintenance records.

Assist with general patient care and wound care procedures as directed.

Ensure the hyperbaric suite is clean, organized, and compliant with all safety regulations.

Participate in ongoing training and clinic quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

Required:

Willingness to obtain hyperbaric technologist training within 30 days.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-focused approach.

Technical aptitude and ability to follow detailed safety procedures.

Preferred:

Prior experience in a hyperbaric or wound care setting.

EMT, Paramedic, LPN/LVN, or Respiratory Therapist background.

Familiarity with outpatient clinic operations and electronic medical records (EMR).
