Beyond the physical upkeep of our facility, our Housekeepers contribute to a welcoming and supportive community atmosphere.
This is a full-time, fully on-site position in Portland, OR. Must have availability AM Shift: 7:00am – 3:30pm Monday-Saturday and 6:00am – 2:30pm on Sundays. PM Shift: 3:30pm-11pm Monday-Saturday and 2:30pm-10pm on Sundays
Job Duties:
Restroom Maintenance: Clean and disinfect various surfaces including toilets, partitions, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures.
Supply Management: Check and restock essential supplies like soap, tissues, toilet paper, seat covers, paper towels, cologne, and combs.
General Cleaning: Clean and dust offices, reading lounge, and other areas; polish furniture; empty trash and recycling containers.
Laundry Handling: Deliver fresh towels, collect used towels, and transport them to the laundry holding area.
Floor Care: Vacuum carpets and dust or damp mop floors.
Detail Cleaning: Spot wash walls in sport court spaces to remove marks and scuffs.
Chemical Handling: Use cleaning fluids, chemicals, and agents safely with personal protective equipment.
Other duties as assigned.
Experience: Basic janitorial skills and familiarity with cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment are preferred.
Reliability: Must be punctual and dependable.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lb.; frequently bend, squat, climb, twist, crawl; reach above shoulders and grasp or squeeze objects; stand and walk throughout the entire shift
