RETURNS / RECEIVING ASSOCIATE
Our client is a fast-growing, dynamic and well-established Oregon-based distributor and internet fulfillment provider of consumer products.
SUMMARY
This position requires a mix of skills and an upbeat, positive attitude—prior work experience needed. The team has a light, easygoing culture, and the warehouse is a comfortable, well-controlled environment!
SHIFT: Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5 pm
PAY: $19.50/hr
PRIMARY DUTIES:
Inspecting the product for wear and defects while checking it in - quality control
Properly and accurately returning product to warehouse shelf locations upon check-in
Multi-tasking while working alone and in a team
Daily lifting and carrying of inventory in the warehouse
Maintaining inventory accuracy and organization, both physically and digitally
Understand principles of stock location and arrangement of materials
SECONDARY DUTIES:
Pick and pack items for outbound
Using RF scanners
Using logistical systems for shipping/receiving
Need to be comfortable lifting to 40lbs consistently.
Folding boxes to be used for shipping
Packing and labeling items for shipping
Load/Unload shipping containers of products.
QUALIFICATIONS
1+ years of previous inventory control or related distribution/warehouse experience
Minimum of 6 months working experience with material handling equipment. (Forklifts, order picker, electric ride-on pallet jack, and manual pallet jacks)
Minimum of 1 year of working experience with warehouse equipment (WMS hardware and software, shrink wrap machine, etc.)
Ability to effectively communicate and resolve complex inventory issues
Ability to work under pressure as work volumes dictate
Ability to handle the physical demands of moving product at a fast pace for the scheduled hours
