Are you seeking a full-time entry-level position in the legal field that provides opportunities for growth? Tonkon Torp LLP, a business law firm, is seeking a personable and proactive Team Assistant to support our busy Litigation & Bankruptcy Practice Groups. This role involves handling administrative tasks and workload overflow. As an essential team member, you should have outstanding customer service and time management skills. This job requires full-time, on-site attendance.

Typical duties may include:

Processing incoming/outgoing mail, and maintaining electronic client files

Schedule meetings/catering and make travel arrangements

Document preparation and organization exhibit and binder assembly

Document delivery to locations in the downtown area

Operate standard office equipment: photocopier, scanner, computer, etc.

Assist with attorney billing process, credit card statements, and check requests

Other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate possess:

Excellent customer service skills

High level of organization skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, solve problems, and take initiative

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Skills in maintaining and organizing case files and other documents according to established guidelines and procedures

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Strong attention to detail and accuracy including ability to proofread typed material for contextual, grammatical, typographical, and spelling errors

Working knowledge of Windows-based environment, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
