Community Manager (Centennial Place)
Location: Centennial Place Apartments – SE Portland, OR
Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Status: Full-time, live-on-site (tenant household eligibility required; utilities paid by employee)

About the Role
Lead day-to-day operations at an affordable housing community serving diverse residents, including individuals receiving mental health services. Set the tone for a safe, supportive environment while ensuring compliance and excellent resident service.
Key Responsibilities
Primary contact for tenant support; promote community-building and retention
Leasing, move-ins/move-outs, rent collection, notices, and documentation
Coordinate repairs, vendors, and inspections; light maintenance as needed
Ensure compliance with policies, Fair Housing, and landlord/tenant laws
Submit reports; support audits; uphold safety and emergency procedures
Qualifications
HS diploma/GED required; AA/BA preferred
2+ years property management preferred (affordable or supportive housing a plus)
Experience with diverse populations; strong communication and problem-solving
Computer proficiency (Yardi preferred); valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally
Current/obtainable CPR/First Aid; able to respond after-hours for crises as needed
