Position: Guide & Generalist
Are you an experienced Movement Guide, Yoga Teacher, or Wellness Facilitator looking for a teaching role that goes beyond the studio floor?
Foster Within is a multi-modal wellness space opening soon in SE Portland, uniquely blending an accessible Movement Studio and curated Global Wellness Retail with a warm authentic community area. We are a space dedicated to being well, inside and out.
We are seeking versatile Generalists who are great at teaching people how to be in their body and are passionate about the intersections of cultural discovery, community building, and the integration of movement as a lifestyle.
The Unique Role:
This is more than a teaching gig at a studio—it’s a chance to be the heart of the community we're building.
Guide Movement: You will lead one session in the movement studio per shift.
Build Community: Manage day-to-day sales, talk about our collection and coffee, and pour it for service.
Be the Vibe: Be a presence of service and authenticity, helping us create a truly welcoming and integrative environment for all.
Details:
Location: 6406 SE Foster Road, Portland, OR 97206 (Foster-Powell)
Commitment: Part-time. 5-6 hour shifts, am and pm options.
Timeline: Interviews in January. Training and start end of February.
We're Looking For You If:
You are certified and experienced in teaching yoga and other movement modalities, and are looking for regular work hours.
You are curious about cultural discovery and community connection.
You see how movement, gathering, and mindful purchasing can be integrated parts of a holistic lifestyle.
You enjoy having multiple hats and feel balanced doing more than one thing.
